The Service & How It Works

Do I need to be home when you clean? Not at all! As long as we have clear access to the garden (e.g., an unlocked side gate or a provided gate code) and your dogs are safely secured indoors, we can get the job done. We always ensure gates are securely closed and locked behind us when we leave.

What do you do with the waste? We never leave a mess. All waste is double-bagged using heavy-duty, leak-proof, scented bio-hazard sacks. We place these securely into your own general household waste bin. After dropping the bag, we treat your bin with our complimentary commercial-grade deodoriser so it smells fresh, not like dog waste.

What if the weather is terrible? We operate rain or shine, all year round. The only exception is severe, unsafe weather (such as extreme lightning or heavy snowfall that completely buries the waste). If we ever have to miss a day for safety, we will communicate with you immediately to reschedule.

What happens if my regular scooper is on holiday? Pick Up My Poop operates a seamless, year-round service. In the event of staff holidays, your service will continue completely uninterrupted under the care of our fully trained and insured cover team. You won't miss a single scoop.

Safety & Our Methods

Are your cleaning sprays safe for my dogs and children? Absolutely. This is our top priority. We use our own proprietary, 100% pet and child-safe veterinary-grade disinfectants and biological odour-eliminating enzymes. Once the treated areas are completely dry, it is completely safe for paws and feet to return to the garden.

Will your treatments damage my patio or artificial grass? No. Our treatments are specifically formulated for hard surfaces and artificial grass. They safely break down uric acid and bacteria without bleaching, staining, or degrading the materials in your garden.

Do you offer flea and tick treatments for the lawn? We do not. Applying professional-grade pesticides to lawns requires the use of harsh chemicals that contradict our strict "100% Pet Safe" standard. We focus entirely on clinical-grade hygiene, waste removal, and odour elimination. By removing the waste, we naturally remove the primary breeding ground for bacteria and flies.

Pricing & Getting Started

I haven't picked up in a while and the garden is a mess. Will you still help? Of course—there is zero judgment here. We offer a mandatory Initial Reset Clean (starting from £40) for new customers or one-off jobs. This involves a complete historical waste clearance and our Full Patio Refresh to bring your garden back to a clinical, fresh baseline.

My artificial grass smells awful in the sun. Can you fix it? Yes! Astro turf requires specialist care because urine soaks past the backing and into the sub-base, creating severe trapped odours. We offer a dedicated Astro Refresh service using a heavy-duty biological deep clean engineered specifically to hunt down and destroy these trapped urine crystals.

How does the payment work for regular scoops? For ultimate convenience, regular weekly and fortnightly clients are set up on a simple, flat-rate monthly standing order. This guarantees your spot on our route and means you never have to worry about paying individual invoices every week.

Do you charge extra for more than one dog? Our base subscription packages cover one dog. For our standard weekly service, we simply add a small supplementary fee of £3.00 per week for each additional dog. Bonus: If you upgrade to our Twice-Weekly premium service, we only charge the £3.00 additional dog fee once a week as a thank you!
