Hi, I’m Neil. I’m a Desborough resident, a husband, and a dad to two. I’ve spent years living and working in our local community, and I know exactly how busy life can get.
Between work, school runs, and family commitments, the garden is often the one place that gets neglected—especially when it comes to the "dirty work." That’s why I started Pick Up My Poop. Our mission is simple: to give local families their gardens back so they can enjoy a fresh, clean, and safe outdoor space without the stress of the mess.
The Story Behind the Logo
You might notice three dogs on our logo. Those are Gizzy, Mac, and Suzi. My history with these dogs goes back decades—it started with Gizzy’s mum, Scraps, who was my pet when I was younger. Gizzy then became a mother herself to Mac and Suzi, who were brother and sister.
Spanning three generations of one family, they were the heart of our home. Although they are no longer with us, they are the reason this business exists. Having spent my life with the same line of dogs, I’ve seen it all! I know the joy they bring, but I also know the reality of the cleanup they leave behind. Today, I continue that legacy of care by helping other local pet owners keep their gardens pristine.
The actual spark for starting 'Pick Up My Poop' came much more recently. My Mum recently adopted a beautiful rescue dog, and while helping her keep her garden clear and fresh, I realised how much of a physical burden and hassle this chore can be—especially for busy families or those who just want to enjoy their garden without the mess. I knew I could offer a professional, hygiene-focused solution for our local community, and the business was born!
